Frequently Asked Questions

LED Video Walls are a great way to improve your presentation at your next event.  However, there can be many questions surrounding the rental of LED Walls in Las Vegas, so we have provided some of the top frequently asked questions regarding renting a LED Video Wall in the Las Vegas area:

An LED video wall is a large screen with very small light-emitting diodes (LEDs), hence the name LED video wall. The diodes, as we call pixels, all work collectively as a large screen to put on a show and display visuals. You can connect multiple LED panels to form a large LED wall of the size you desire. Their brightness makes them a more suitable option for both indoor and outdoor events.

The biggest difference is the technology, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) walls are made of thick devices consisting of liquid crystals. LED walls, on the other hand, are light-emitting diodes that are smaller and much more effective. Instead of using reflectors or backlights, LED video walls emit light and, thus, provide much brighter visuals at outdoor events, especially in sunlight.

LED video walls consist of panels that are bound together using cables to make one large screen. A processor, linked with LED panels, feeds them data after taking signals from an input source (computer or other sources). The role of the processor is to convert signals into a suitable video format for the LED wall, which is then shown to the audience.

The ideal size of an LED video wall really depends on your type of event, visual needs, and viewing distance from the audience. Getting the size right is crucial; otherwise, your audience may find the LED Wall too small or maybe overbearing.  It also depends if you want the LED placed on the ground, or if you need it elevated higher up or on a stage.

Setting up an LED video wall is easy if you know how to install video walls. Determine your content requirements, including the desired video resolution and video wall size. After hiring LED panels, you need to connect them to form the video wall and integrate the video wall controller. Now all you have to do is install the wall and test it whether it runs perfectly.

The cost of LED video walls depends on their size, required pixel pitch, and your event type.  Also, the venue where the event will take place can make a big difference.  An example can be if the event is outdoors, on uneven grass or surface, far away from electricity, then there would be other cost factors.    You can email us to get a customized quotation and discuss your needs with our experts.

The LED pixel pitch is the distance in mm from one LED pixel to the next. So, the closer the distance, the higher the resolution of the LED video wall screen. An LED video wall with a lower pixel pitch has more LEDs and a shorter viewing distance.  So if you need an LED Wall where the closest person viewing the screen is 20′ or more feet away, a 6mm may work for you.  However, if you need an LED Wall where the person viewing is approximately 5′ ft. away, then a lower pixel pitch such as 2.6mm is more ideal.
